1. Age & Medical Requirements
Minimum age: 17 years old.
Medical certificate: Hold at least a Class 2 aviation medical, confirming you meet health and vision standards.
2. Flight Training
Complete minimum flight hours (varies by country, but typically around 40–50 hours for PPL(H)).
Flight training includes:
Takeoffs, landings, and hover practice
Navigation and cross-country flights
Emergency procedures and in-flight decision-making
3. Ground School / Theory
Learn the fundamentals of aviation, including:
Air law and regulations
Meteorology and weather interpretation
Flight planning and navigation
Aircraft systems and performance

4. Examinations
Written exams covering theory subjects.
Flight test / check ride with a certified examiner to demonstrate practical skills and safety knowledge.
5. Additional Requirements
